Acton Academy Heroes grow rooted in self-confidence, resilience, grit, and empathy. They courageously explore the unknown and take risks, knowing they will learn something valuable even if they don’t succeed.
The world is changing fast. The skills of tomorrow aren't the skills of today. Take with you a DIY toolbox of curiosity, grit, trial-and-error, joy, and perseverance. You've confronted new things before. You can learn anything.
What skills do you need to change the world? Every day we're standing in the shoes of doctors, designers, presidents, and builders, learning the skills and tools that heroes have mastered. We call it a Quest.

I have been very impressed with my son’s experience at Acton Academy. I have seen his school related anxiety greatly reduced due to the flexibility of their unique approach to learning. Each student is valued as an individual, with perspectives that are heard and respected. Decision making is a collaborative process, allowing the students to feel a sense of responsibility and ownership over their education.
My son has been given the encouragement and resources to pursue areas of particular interest to him. He has been made to feel that he has important gifts to contribute to the world. I think that is the greatest possible source of motivation for learning, and I appreciate that Acton has provided an environment in which confidence can grow.
My nephew attends this school and it’s been amazing to see him blossom. He was a kid who hated school, but Acton has a totally unique approach to learning. The kids have a VOICE, they can pursue their own interests while learning the curriculum, and they are very active in creating a positive, collaborative environment.
